Bamgbose Replaces Alvey in Pittsburgh Bout

Middleweight Sam Alvey has been forced to withdraw from his Feb. 21 bout against Daniel Sarafian due to injury. But the show must go on, so New York's Oluwale Bamgbose will step in to make his second Octagon start against the Brazilian at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

In the UFC Fight Night main event, which airs live on FOX Sports 1, Donald Cerrone moves up to the welterweight division to face Tim Means. Tickets go on sale on January 22.

Winner of five of his six pro MMA bouts, Bamgbose made his UFC debut on short notice in August, losing to Uriah Hall. "The holy War Angel" hopes for a better result the second time around against Brazil's Sarafian, an aggressive battler who was a finalist on the first season of TUF Brazil. Coming ogg a stoppage of Antonio dos Santos in his return to 185 pounds in December of 2014, Sarafian is eager to throw hands with Bamgbose next month.
